The terms that apply when you use AgriView and its related services.
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the AgriView mobile application, website, and related services. By creating an account, accessing, or using AgriView, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use AgriView.
1. About AgriView
AgriView is an agriculture-focused educational and informational application. It may provide agricultural information; crop, disease, pest, weed and nutrient information; Smart Scan and AI-assisted analysis; weather information; quizzes and MCQs; examination and learning features; bookmarks and favorites; notifications; and other agriculture-related services. AgriView is intended primarily for educational and informational purposes.
2. Eligibility
You must provide accurate information when creating or maintaining an account. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of AgriView complies with applicable laws. You must not use AgriView if you are legally prohibited from doing so.
3. User Accounts
Some features require an account. Account information may include name or username, email address, phone number, and authentication information. You are responsible for maintaining the accuracy and security of your account information. You must not: create an account using intentionally false information; impersonate another person; access another user's account without authorization; attempt to bypass authentication; share account credentials in a manner that compromises security; or attempt unauthorized access to AgriView systems.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to interfere with application operation; attempt unauthorized access; reverse engineer or decompile the application except where legally permitted; upload malicious content; abuse application infrastructure; circumvent security mechanisms; use automated methods to overload the service; or commit fraudulent or unlawful activities through the application.
5. Agricultural Information Disclaimer
Agricultural information provided by AgriView is for general educational and informational purposes. Agricultural conditions vary depending on location, soil, climate, crop variety, cultivation practices, pest pressure, disease pressure, weather, and other environmental factors. AgriView does not guarantee that any agricultural information, recommendation, prediction, or result will produce a particular farming or financial outcome. Users should obtain appropriate advice from qualified agricultural professionals before making important agricultural decisions.
6. Smart Scan and AI Features
AgriView may provide AI-based or automated image analysis. These results may be inaccurate, incomplete, incorrect, affected by image quality, affected by environmental conditions, or unable to identify certain conditions. AI or automated results should not be treated as a guaranteed diagnosis or professional agricultural recommendation. Important decisions should be verified with qualified agricultural professionals or reliable local sources.
7. Weather Information
AgriView may provide weather information using third-party weather services. This information may be delayed, incomplete, inaccurate, or temporarily unavailable. AgriView does not guarantee the accuracy, availability, or completeness of weather information. For critical weather or safety decisions, users should consult appropriate official weather sources.
8. Quiz, MCQ and Educational Content
AgriView may provide quizzes, MCQs, examinations, answers, scores, and educational material for learning and preparation purposes. AgriView does not guarantee that a particular question will appear in an examination; that every answer is error-free; that application scores represent official examination scores; admission or certification; employment; or any particular academic result.
9. User-Provided Content
Where AgriView allows users to upload images, text, feedback, or other content, users are responsible for ensuring they have the necessary rights to submit that content. You must not upload content that violates applicable law; infringes intellectual-property rights; contains malicious software; attempts to compromise application security; or contains unlawful or harmful material. You retain ownership of content you lawfully own, subject to the rights necessary for AgriView to provide the requested service.
10. Privacy
Your use of AgriView is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains information collection, information use, third-party services, data security, data retention, and account deletion. The Privacy Policy forms part of these Terms.
11. Firebase and Third-Party Services
AgriView may use third-party services including Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Firebase Cloud Messaging, Firebase App Check, Firebase Crashlytics, Firebase Analytics, weather services, AI/image-processing services, and hosting and security services. Third-party services may have their own terms and privacy policies. AgriView is not responsible for independent third-party services outside our reasonable control.
12. Intellectual Property
AgriView's original software, design, branding, logos, graphics, user interfaces, proprietary content, and application materials may be protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Unless expressly permitted by AgriView or applicable law, you may not copy substantial proprietary content; reproduce proprietary materials commercially; distribute proprietary materials without authorization; create unauthorized derivative works; or misuse AgriView branding. Third-party content remains the property of its respective owners.
13. Service Availability
We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. AgriView may become temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, network problems, server problems, security incidents, Firebase or third-party outages, technical failures, or events outside our reasonable control. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary.
14. Account Suspension or Termination
We may suspend or terminate an account where reasonably necessary because of violation of these Terms, fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, security threats, illegal activity, or misuse of the application. You may stop using AgriView at any time.
15. Account Deletion
You may request deletion of your AgriView account through the application or the external deletion webpage: agriview.in/delete-account. When account deletion is completed, associated account information will be deleted or anonymized subject to legitimate legal, security, or operational retention requirements.
16. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AgriView is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the application will always be available; that information will always be accurate; that AI results will always be correct; that weather information will always be accurate; that educational content will always be error-free; or that the application will satisfy every user's requirements. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.
17. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AgriView and its operators will not be responsible for losses resulting from reliance on agricultural information, AI or Smart Scan results, weather information, educational information, third-party information, application interruptions, or technical failures. This limitation applies only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
18. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms when the application, services, data practices, third-party services, or legal requirements change. Updated Terms become effective when published unless otherwise stated. Continued use of AgriView after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
19. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the applicable laws of India, subject to mandatory consumer-protection and other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Any dispute shall be handled in accordance with applicable Indian law and the jurisdiction of competent courts.
